POSTPONED TO 2025

After some serious consideration, we have decided to postpone the inaugural Last Grizzly Gravel event in September.  After a successful but extremely exhausting and stressful event season so far, we felt that we were not prepared to put on an event to the level that it should be.

The 2025 Last Grizzly Gravel Race will be dates of September 19-21, 2025 and we look forward to putting on an amazing race.  We will open registration in November 2024.

LAST GRIZZLY GRAVEL

Join the team of Breakaway Promotions for another spectacular celebration of gravel at the three-day, all-inclusive gravel stage race, the Last Grizzly Gravel!  The adventure starts in Northern Utah before heading across the border into Idaho traversing the the Bear Mountain Range in Wasatch/Cache National Forest. Come witness the amazing brilliance of golds of the high aspens to the cobalt colors of Northern Utah's famous Bear Lake.

The Last Grizzly Gravel is a 3-day all-inclusive gravel bike ride and race, transversing Utah and Idaho with spectacular views of the Bear Lake, a natural freshwater lake on the Idaho–Utah border in the Western United States. About 109 square miles in size, it is split about equally between the two states; its Utah portion comprises the second-largest natural freshwater lake in Utah, after Utah Lake.

The event will take place September 20-22nd, 2024, and is limited to only 200 riders.  Like its bigger cousin in Oregon, The Oregon Trail, our team will provide high-quality camping locations, full logisitical support, and breathtaking courses.  If you are ready to take on this 270 miles 20,000-foot challenge sign up now to secure your spot.  The event will begin and end in the historic town of Ogden, Utah one of the fastest growing towns for the outdoor industry.
